I just see this as a lot of competitive wrangling that's just not going to affect the market place for a very long time.

They will seek to use it as a negotiating tool.

St. Jude is clearly small enough for them to absorb. I think it's a good target. I don't think they're going to have trouble raising money for it.

They do seem to be holding steady in terms of market share in the U.S..

It increasingly has been wanting to get into high-tech medical devices, and this gives them the platform for that.
